Pousadoiro Colleiteiro Winery
The history of this winery goes back several generations, entirely dedicated to vine cultivation and winemaking. Because of this, the winery maintains tradition while producing signature wines using modern technology, such as controlled fermentation, among others.
We produce white wine from native grape varieties, predominantly Treixadura (50%) and Godello (30%), complemented with Torrontés (10%), Albariño, and Loureira (10%).
All wines are made from vineyards under integrated viticulture, avoiding systemic treatments and herbicides, which allows us to ferment wines without yeast residues that could affect or remain in the wine. This results in wines with greater personality and more “healthy” qualities.
The fact that our grapes come exclusively from our own vineyards allows us, through selective vineyard processes, to obtain ideal grapes in good sanitary condition, discarding any unhealthy grapes and bringing only the best to the winery. This completely prevents contact between healthy and defective grapes.
For us, the vineyard is an ecosystem that, if its balance is respected, prevents most pest issues and enhances the complexity of the wines.
